The questions everyone asks
Can you just tweak my current site?
No. We never patch an existing site — every project is built from scratch, at the price shown above. Patching someone else's broken foundation costs more, takes longer, and leaves you with the same problems six months later. It is build from scratch, or we don't work together. There is no cheaper middle option.
How does payment work?
50% when you order. The balance is due within 3 business days of your first preview. For the 48-hour Express, the full amount is paid upfront: we block two entire days for you alone.
I don't have good photos.
Most common case there is. We work with what your phone can take, or with professional imagery. Photos are never a reason to delay a site.
Who owns the site and the domain?
You do, entirely. The domain and hosting are opened in your name — around $25 a year, paid by you, directly. We are never a middleman you depend on.
I already have a Facebook page.
Keep it. Facebook is for people already following you. The website is what makes you findable by the ones searching on Google right now.
I don't understand any of the tech.
Perfect — that is exactly who this is for. You send photos and information. You never touch a technical tool.
Which platform do you build on?
Two cases, and only two. If you sell a real catalogue of products online, we build on Shopify. For everything else — salons, spas, restaurants, studios — we code the site ourselves, which makes it far faster than anything assembled on Wix or Squarespace. We do not build on those, and we never take over a site made with them. Either way, the finished site is entirely yours.
Can you put a video on my site?
Yes, and it is often a very good idea — but not every clip belongs in the same place. A short silent loop in the hero is what we recommend most: five to fifteen seconds, no sound, MP4. That one we host directly so it starts the instant the page opens. Anything longer, or anything with sound and a story to tell, goes on YouTube or Vimeo and is embedded instead — hosting a heavy file directly slows the page down, and Google penalises slow pages. Vertical phone footage works well in a social or gallery section, rarely as a hero, which needs to be wide. Send us whatever you have: we tell you which route each clip should take, and we cut, crop and compress it for you.
And if I don't like it?
You always see the site before it goes online, never after. That is the moment you ask for changes. A round of revisions means you send us one list of everything you want changed, and we correct all of it at once. Showcase includes 2 rounds, Booking 3, Online store 5 — far more than most projects ever use. Past that, extra changes are billed by the hour and we tell you the cost before touching anything.
